Paul Nicolls is taking on more responsibilities with the Chilliwack Chiefs, adding the title of skills development coach.
Nicolls was named the team's strength and conditioning coach two weeks ago as head coach and general manager Harvey Smyl put together his hockey staff.
The ex-Chief is well suited to both his roles. As owner/operator of the Xceed Training Center in Chilliwack, Nicolls has worked with several high level athletes, including San Jose Sharks goaltending prospect Thomas Heemskerk.
Nicolls has also worked extensively with Chilliwack Minor Hockey, running power skating and skills camps.
