Paul is the owner and founder of Xceed Training. After seven years as both a player and referee at the professional level, Paul has 14 years of experience as a personal sports trainer for numerous professional and amateur athletes. His passion for the game, and desire to produce maximum results in athletes has enabled him to be one of the best trainers in his field.
Dr. Jen Cham
Naturopathic medicine is all about treating the whole person. The goal is not only to eliminate symptoms, but to help you feel your best and to prevent many common illnesses. Dr. Cham became a naturopathic physician after 14 years as a registered nurse. She graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and received appointments as a clinical nursing instructor with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, British Columbia Institute of Technology, and the University of British Columbia. She then returned to school to become a naturopathic doctor, and followed this with specialized post-graduate study to provide sports-focused treatments in prolotherapy, neural therapy, and platelet-rich plasma injections. She is certified in pharmaceutical prescribing and offers clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, vitamin and mineral supplements, customized IV therapy, laboratory testing, hormone balancing, and joint injection therapies.
Dr. Cham’s blend of athletic passion with health care follows a lifetime of love for sports. She played hockey with the UBC Thunderbirds Women’s Ice Hockey Team, and as an associate in the NWHL, Canada’s first professional women’s hockey league. She continues to participate in hockey, downhill skiing, tennis, mountain biking, road biking, and hiking. Dr. Cham has treated all levels of athlete, from beginners to Olympians, and is excited to help everyone achieve his or her own peak performance goals.

Dr. Jen Cham
Marion comes from an athletic background including competing internationally for Canada in triathlons and cross country skiing; racing for Team Canada in Morocco’s Eco challenge (1997); and competing in track, cross country & trail running events. She has competed in multiple events at the World Police and Fire Games and has numerous podium finishes with age group records to her name. She can still be seen competing in various athletic events but has turned her attention to coaching. This has included University and club runners as well as CrossFit athletes. Her focus has been to help athletes achieve their personal bests through improving form with a proper mix of training volume and intensity.
Marion has a Bachelor in Physical Education and has held BCRPA and NCCP certifications (for several sports). In an effort to incorporate her athletic background and education with CrossFit’s practices, she completed her Level 1 CrossFit and the CrossFit Endurance certifications.
Most recently, Marion is dedicated to CrossFit training – when she tried it out in effort to fight age. The intensity and challenging movements inspired Marion to continue to push herself athletically. She appreciates the solid functional movement foundation that CrossFit provides for athletes of all ages.

Born in the Republic of Ireland and having lived in several countries around the world Duncan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work. As a youth he played goal in soccer with the Canadian national developmental program here in BC. In high school Duncan picked up punting and kicking in football at Abby Senior. He attended UBC where he was a double All-Canadian for the T-Birds, resulting in him being drafted 14th overall by the Calgary Stampeders. He played almost 8 full seasons of CFL action, went to two Grey Cups, winning one, and was also a CFL All-Star during his professional career. After retiring from football Duncan completed his Master’s degree in psychology and is now a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He presently works as a youth mental health clinician for Fraser Health and has a private practice her in Chilliwack. Duncan is currently completing further studies in the field of sports psychology with the intent of registering with the Canadian Sports Psychological Association.
PERSONAL TRAINER, CROSSFIT LEVEL ONE TRAINER
Colton is a well-rounded athlete who has committed his lifetime to a vast array of sports. For the last five years, Colton has played semi-professional lacrosse for the Maple Ridge Burrards. During this time, he has also advanced to a professional lacrosse level and has had the opportunity to play for the Colorado Mammoth NLL team. With this outstanding athletic background, Colton has learned what it takes for athletes of all kinds to advance and perform to their full potential. He specializes as a Crossfit Level one trainer and dedicated his time to producing various workout programs and classes to enhance all individuals.
PERSONAL TRAINER, WEIGHT TRAINGING & CROSSFIT LEVEL ONE TRAINER
Zack is a dedicated athlete who, for the last three years, has played semi-professional lacrosse for the Maple Ridge Burrards. Over his lifetime, he has spent time in minor hockey, lacrosse and other various sports. In this time, Zack has been able to become educated on what is needed for the body to perform at its maximum level. He specializes as a Crossfit Level One Trainer and dedicates his time to produce workouts/classes that enhances results in every individual
Tamara received her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC where she also focused on Athlete Nutrition. She was a Varsity Athlete playing for the UBC Thunderbirds Women’s Ice Hockey team competing in the CIS for all 5 years. Prior to UBC, she had extensive elite hockey & sport experience with Team Saskatchewan, Team Ontario & Team BC provincial programs competing at the Canada Winter Games, U18 Nationals & Esso National Championships prior to competing in the NWHL with the Vancouver Griffins, Ottawa Raiders & BC Breakers Semi-Pro women’s ice hockey teams. She also competed in soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming/diving as well as recreational skiing, waterskiing, and track events.
Tamara has extensive experience in the field of player development through coaching & training where leading, developing, and promoting positive experiences for athletes of all ages has been a priority; believing that commitment to personal and professional excellence is the leading platform to elite performance. Tamara has been involved with Hockey Canada from a Strength & Conditioning perspective and has been involved with BC Hockey Provincial Programs at the U16 & U18 stages as a Coach, Mentor and Instructor. Tamara has also been responsible for various hockey school academies, athlete training and nutritional lectures.
As part of the Women’s National Ball Hockey Team, Tamara was able to share a few roles as the Assistant Coach, Player and Trainer. She not only helped prepare Team Canada for the recent 2017 World Ball Hockey Championships in Pardubice, Czech Republic, but also competed as a player. In 2016, she competed for Team Canada at the World Masters Championship in which her team won a gold medal and she was named an all-star forward. Tamara competed for WTC as they won a gold medal at the last world championship in Zug, Switzerland (2015).
Tamara spent 5 years as the Head Strength, Speed & Conditioning Specialist/Coach at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan.
Jennifer has always been an athlete. Going back to high school played all team sports as well as ran track. Became an international athlete at 17, short listed to the Canadian National Team and went on to represent Canada at the World Equestrian Games.
With a background in Kinesiology aspired to work in the rehab field, though quickly realized she needed a more motivating and energizing environment to thrive in. Began personal training, working with all types of clients but leaned towards athletes and sport specific training.
Became Vault Canada’s conditioning coach and flexibility specialist, travelling for clinics and symposiums for lecture and hands on training. Also administered badge and medal testing to athletes—planning to become a National then International judge when her competitive career is over.
Has administered skin fold caliper and fitness testing to students enrolling in the Paramedic Academy, as well as conditioning training for those preparing for RCMP PARE and Corrections Canada COPAT.
Created in its entirety a successful 12 Week Fitness Challenge Contest complete with prizes from the community for the winners in each category.
Is a National level physique and figure competitor and has also judged for the BCABBA at a regional level. Has contest prep experience with first time competitors to those at a national level. Sought after posing coach for all divisions.
Has taken many workshops and courses over the years. A few favourite programs to lead are Bootcamps, Suspension Training, HIIT Circuits, also Stretch & Strength.
